A 12 hour bake-a-thon and family fun day took place this month to raise valuable funds for CLIC Sargent.

The event was held at Lynworth Hall in Cheltenham and raised a grand total of £848 for children and young people with cancer, and their families.

The event was extremely popular and right on trend.

Event organiser, Amy Phillips, said: “I'm extremely happy with the outcome of the event and we raised a good amount of money which will go a long way to helping children and their families.”

Amy works with children and therefore wanted to organise an event to raise funds for a worthwhile children’s charity.

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Hannah Worrall, said: “This has been an extremely successful fundraiser and Amy has done an amazing job to raise such a huge amount of money – thank you Amy for all your hard work.”
