Sarah Denholm from Towcester, Northamptonshire took part in CLIC Sargent's The Big Buzz to raise money for children and young people with cancer.
On the spur of the moment, Sarah, who is currently being treated for lung cancer with a brain metastasis, decided to shave off her hair in aid of CLIC Sargent, which helped her son’s best friend and his family 15 years ago.
Sarah said: “With the treatment I was on, I wouldn’t have lost my hair but I wanted to support those who would.
"I could not believe the response I got from donations, likes and shares. I am so humbled by everyone's support.”
