There were treble-twenties all round as a team from the Friar Penketh pub, in Warrington, won the national J D Wetherspoon darts competition in aid of CLIC Sargent.
The victory topped a packed day of darts which saw the 12 best teams from J D Wetherspoon pubs across the country go head to head at the Soloman Cutler Pub, in Birmingham.
‘Golden Girl’ and 10 times Women’s World Darts champion Trina Gulliver was a special guest at the event, where the Friar Penketh team beat the William Shenstone, from Halesowen, into second place.
