Jane Davis from Market Drayton certainly turned heads at the Tern Hill Hall Ball after becoming a ‘life-shaver’ for CLIC Sargent.
While many had spent hours on their hairdo’s for the Ball, organised by the Noden family, Jane went one step further and braved the clippers as part of CLIC Sargent’s Big Buzz.
The sponsored head shave was cheered on by all the guests, including Jane’s daughter Laura Davis, who was the first person to cut some of Jane’s locks.
Jane said: “I was quite nervous about having all my hair gone but it was all worth it to raise money for CLIC Sargent and to support the Noden family on their fundraising night.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Anna Finnegan said: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to Jane for becoming a life-shaver for CLIC Sargent.
“I think the finished results look amazing!
“Jane’s bravery has helped the whole night’s fundraising to top £5,500, which is just fantastic!”
