Daisy shaves head to raise nearly £4,000

On Saturday 23 March, 17 year old Daisy from Seaford, east Sussex decided to take part in CLIC Sargent’s The Big Buzz and shave her head to raise almost £4,000 for children and young people with cancer.

Daisy bravely and selflessly decided to take part in The Big Buzz, in memory of her friend who was supported by CLIC Sargent for three years before he died of cancer in 2012.

The money raised from Daisy’s challenge was shared between CLIC Sargent and The Little Princess Trust.

CLIC Sargent fundraising manager, Hannah Auer went along to support and cheer Daisy on as her head was shaved by her brother Toby.

With the original aim of raising £500, Daisy then smashed her revised target of £2,500 and will be hitting the £4,000 mark very soon.
