Loyal CLIC Sargent supporters from The Swan Inn in Sidmouth have raised another £510 in support of children and young people with cancer, and their families.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Stephanie Cherrington-Rimmell was presented with a cheque for the money that was raised by staff and customers at the much loved local pub's annual Christmas raffle.
Stephanie said: “This is a wonderful gift to CLIC Sargent and I would like to thank everyone for contributing to this fantastic amount.
"Combined with last years’ donation, the pub has raised over £1,000 which will go a long way to help us continue to support children and young people with cancer in Devon and across the UK.”
Last year, CLIC Sargent’s Health and Social Care Professionals gave in-depth support to more than 6,600 children and young people with cancer, and their families across the UK, 142 from Devon.
Landlord at The Swan Inn, Adrian Ricketts, said: “We like to support cancer charities as much as possible. It is great to be able to hand over such a fantastic amount to CLIC Sargent again this year, which is thanks to our very generous and supportive patrons.”
