Supporters came from across the midlands to celebrate the seventh birthday of Billy’s House in Nottingham and enjoyed a sunny afternoon, eating a cake or two! There was a raffle for a Soap and Glory hamper, which was kindly donated by Boots, which raised a fantastic £89.
The Home from Home in Nottingham also played host to the launch of a 5k run during the party.
Four Signet employees, one of CLIC Sargent’s national corporate partners, set off from Billy’s House and ran back to the Nottingham Ernest Jones store.
Guests included the Worshipful the Mayor and Mayoress of Amber Valley, Richard and Susan Iliffe, who have chosen CLIC Sargent as their charity of the year for 2016-17 and are looking forward to raising vital funds for children and young people with cancer.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Blaine Cooper-Jones said: “It was such a wonderful afternoon.
“We are so grateful to everyone who came to celebrate Billy’s House and the service it provides for young cancer patients and their families across the Midlands.”
