A trampoline club is preparing to leap into action with a Bounceathon to support children and young people with cancer.
The University of Gloucestershire Trampoline Club is pushing itself to the limit with a fundraising Bounceathon. The jumping starts on campus at 9am on Tuesday 16 February, and will go on for an incredible 24 hours.
In support of the team’s efforts, the social secretary has even promised to dye his hair blue if the event raises £800.
Stop by on the day to show your support, or visit their official JustGiving page to make a donation. You can also text TRMP60 followed by £5 to 70070 to donate.
Event organiser Jasmine Stokes said: “This charity is very important to us, as one of our members is currently battling cancer, and was helped a lot by the charity when he was a teenager. This is our way of giving something back, and celebrating his ongoing recovery.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Caroline Marshall said: “Look out for them at Oxstalls Campus during the day and in the Francis Close Hall Student Union from 5pm. You can have a go yourself for only a 50p donation, and give the team a well earned rest!”
