CLIC Sargent Home from Home in Oxford, CLIC Court, hosted a Mad Hatter's tea party with special guest Shirin O’Neill, Miss Popularity Queen 2015, raising £180 for children and young people with cancer.
The staff and friends of CLIC Court hosted a Mad Hatter's tea party to raise money for CLIC Sargent.
The event was well attended and the garden provided the perfect venue for the event.
Special guest Miss Popularity Queen 2015 Shirin O’Neill, who opened the event, was dressed as Alice for the party. Shirin made beautiful Alice in Wonderland cupcakes for the tea party and local businesses were kind enough to donate delicious treats to tempt the guests.
A great cause
Shirin said: “I am so proud to support this event for CLIC Sargent, it’s such a great cause!
"Being charitable is a natural part of my life, I have been fundraising since I was just four years old, I love to fundraise and will continue for a long time.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager James McDonald said: “CLIC Sargent relies on the kindness of the public to help us raise vital funds to continue to support young people with cancer.
"I would like to thank everyone involved and congratulate you for organising such a wonderful event.”
