Members of Ipswich gym Grange Fitness and Performance Centre got sweaty with wacky wigs on to raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
Gym owner Matt Brennan urged everyone at the fitness centre to pump-iron, raise heart rates and get fit while wearing wacky wigs to raise funds and awareness for children and young people with cancer.
He said: “Our members are made of strong stuff and they were eager to get their wigs on to raise awareness for anyone who loses their hair as a result of cancer treatment.”
Wig Wednesday is one of the many ways Grange Fitness and Performance Centre has supported CLIC Sargent; in December members rowed the eqivalent distance from the UK to the North pole to raise over £1,500.
Personal trainer Kelly Stevens added: “Our members get sweaty during most workouts but wearing the wigs certainly turned the heat up.
"Everyone had a great laugh, and really enjoyed supporting CLIC Sargent."
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Daisy Turner said: “We’re very grateful to all the members of Grange Fitness for their continued support.”
