Rebecca Gilligan and two of her friends have organised a family fun day for CLIC Sargent in support of her daughter and another young girl who are both receiving cancer treatment.
Rebecca and her friends organised the family fun day to raise awareness and funds for CLIC Sargent. The event was held at The Harrier Centre in West Ewell and included face painting, a raffle and tombola and a mini sports day.
So far the family fun day has raised over £2,400 in support of children and young people with cancer, and their families!
Rebecca said: “Organising an event for CLIC Sargent was something I had been planning to do for some time.
"I really wanted to do something myself to say a huge thank you to CLIC Sargent who have helped and supported us all of the way.
"By organising a fun day with two great friends Devenia and Becky it was a great way to get family and friends involved and have a great day with lots of fun for everyone!”
Eva's Support Me fund
All fundraising efforts are going towards a CLIC Sargent Support Me fund in Eva’s name, and they have so far raised over £5,000 for CLIC Sargent.
Rebecca’s friends and family are all raising funds in support of Eva for CLIC Sargent by organising discos, ladies nights and taking part in this year's Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Nicola White said: “Well done to Rebecca, Becky and Devenia for organising their fun day and raising such a fantastic amount which will go a great way to supporting children and young people with cancer.
"I wish them lots of luck for the rest of their fundraising.”
