School Christmas fayre raises £1,654

Visitors enjoyed glasses of mulled wine, an incredible selection of delicious homemade cakes and hearty meals from a local catering company.

Children played different games and activities in the first hall, each with a different prize for every participant. There was even a magical snowy Grotto, where Father Christmas sat giving out Christmas goodie bags.

Next door, the Christmassy church hall gave adults the opportunity to buy from a selection of beautiful and tasteful wares guest stall holders had for sale. Exotic Argan oils and silks from Morocco, stunning jewellery, charming decorations and beautiful oil paintings were just a few of the things on offer.

The day was a huge success with 25% of the raffle and auction being donated to CLIC Sargent, raising a staggering £1,634 for children and young people with cancer.
