Irish pop-folk duo Hudson Taylor and singer Lucy Rose are two of the special guest acts playing a charity Christmas concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 9 December in aid of children and young people’s cancer support charity CLIC Sargent.
Also performing at the CLIC Sargent Christmas Celebration is boyband Little Giants, energetic dance acts Urban Strides and West End Kids, and singer Tom Billington.
Brothers Harry and Alfie Hudson-Taylor released their full-length debut album Singing for Strangers in March 2015 in Ireland and the UK. The band has toured extensively playing the festival circuit, headline shows and has supported the likes of Jake Bugg, Kodaline and The Rolling Stones.
Harry Hudson-Taylor said: “You cannot help but be inspired by the stories of the young people and children with cancer that CLIC Sargent supports, which is why we’re massive fans of this amazing charity.
"The Royal Albert Hall is a fantastic venue, and it’s going to be a great night. So get your tickets now."
After working with Bombay Motorcycle Club and the Manic Street Preachers Lucy Rose launched her solo career in 2012. She released her second album Work It Out earlier this year, and she has just completed a tour of the UK.
As well as performing alone, all acts will perform alongside Young Voices, a 1,600 strong choir made up of schoolchildren from London.
The CLIC Sargent Christmas Celebration takes place at the Royal Albert Hall, London on Wednesday 9 December 2015 from 7pm – 9.30pm.
Tickets are available through The Royal Albert Hall online or by calling 020 7589 8212. Tickets can also be bought through SEE Tickets online or by calling 0871 220 0260 (calls cost 10p per minute plus standard network charges).
