It’s now the fourth year for the Studhambury festival, held at The Red Lion Pub in the village of Studham, Bedfordshire.
The success of the festival is evident- £2,500 was raised in 2013, £5,000 in 2014, and over £7,000 last year. These funds are vital in helping CLIC Sargent to support children and young people with cancer, and their families.
It’s a brilliant day which gives families and friends the chance to enjoy music from local talent, to win some great prizes in the auctions and raffles, and to spend time together as a community against the stunning backdrop of the village of Studham.
This year, upcoming band Toffees will once again be making an appearance. With music like their's as well as the other bands, it will be difficult not to have a dance!
Everyone is welcome at this superb event, so do pop along and join the villagers (no tickets required), and you’ll find yourself not wanting to leave!
An event not to be missed
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Catherine Cadman said: “As this will be my second Studhambury, I can say that the event really is a truly wonderful one.
"It’s always amazing to see how a one-off event has become an annual instalment in a community’s calendar. And what a magnificent amount raised to date!
"Thank you to everyone for raising these funds, which help us to continue to provide our services to children and young people with cancer, and their families.
"Our goal is to reach and support every child and young person with cancer, so you’re all helping us to strive to achieve that. I’ll be there on the day, and I’d love it if you could join me- it’s an event not to be missed!”
