After an incredibly successful first two years, organisers are aiming to make this village festival even bigger and better in support of children and young people with cancer, and their families.
In 2013 Studham village residents were inspired to hold a fundraising event in aid of CLIC Sargent after hearing about the support the charity had given to Heston, who lives in the Bedfordshire village. Local residents got together and Studhambury was born!
The festival has proved a success with families and friends enjoying music from local talent, participating in a raffle and auction, and soaking up the brilliant buzz unique to the village.
It is time for the third instalment on Saturday 12 September 2015.
Music includes Toffees, an upcoming band starting out on the road to success.
The prizes this year include the shirt of professional dart player Dave Chisnall, as well as a signed Watford FC shirt.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Catherine Cadman said: “Thank you very much to this wonderful village for already raising so much for CLIC Sargent.
“Everyone is welcome to come along to this amazing event, which demonstrates the true meaning of community spirit, and, of course, raises vital funds for children and young people with cancer, and their families. I’m looking forward to Studhambury 2015!”
