Join us at St Austell RFC for an action packed day of rugby to raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer, and their families.
On 23 August, St Austell Rugby Club will host a fundraising day in aid of CLIC Sargent and in support of Freya Brewer.
The day will kick off at 12 noon with a Colts (under 18s) rugby game. This will be followed by the 1st and 2nd teams of St Austell RFC taking on the Cornish All Blacks from Launceston.
Finally, Richard Brewer will lead out the CLIC Sargent select 15 who will take on the St Austell Titans (over 30s).
Richard Brewer said: "In October 2013 our 17 month old little girl was diagnosed with Leukaemia.
CLIC Sargent's assistance and support has been tremendous through a very difficult time.
“Organising this event is a small token of my appreciation to such a wonderful charity and I hope the money I raise will help other children and young people with cancer."
Entrance for spectators is £5 with 50% of the profits going directly to CLIC Sargent to help children and young people with cancer.
For more information you can contact Richard Brewer on 07585122173.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Georgina Reed said: “This is going to be fantastic, seeing two of the best Cornish Rugby Clubs going head to head will be so exciting!"
