Whether you want to enter or spectate, Siddington Horse Show is a family friendly local show and everyone is welcome to come along and help raise money to support children and young people with cancer.
This year Siddington Horse Show has introduced some fun novelty classes that are open to everyone, and include: the horse or pony the judge would most like to take home, prettiest mare and most handsome gelding.
There will be many highlights throughout the day, including the working hunter classes, show jumping and a dog show which is also open to everyone (provided you have a dog or can borrow one!).
With all the excitement of the different classes, there will also be bucket collections, a raffle and refreshments on sale.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Laura Penry said: “This is a fantastic and fun-packed day for everyone to join in and raise money for CLIC Sargent. This will be a lovely day out and one I am definitely excited for.”
For CLIC Sargent
Committe member Karen Bell said: “Siddington Show has successfully raised money over the last few years for the Air Ambulance, a service much appreciated and valued by all horse riders.
“However, this year I have seen first-hand the amazing work that CLIC Sargent does.
"Much of this work goes unnoticed by the general public, such as providing Homes from Home close to the children’s hospital in Bristol in order to allow families to be close while their children are undergoing treatment.
“So this year the show’s committee kindly agreed to help raise funds for the charity and we will be shaking buckets and running a cake stall among other things.”
You can enter classes in advance or on the day. To enter in advance please contact event organiser Karen Bell by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
