Come and help Rosie The Rabbit to celebrate the launch of her new book, 'Rosie The Rabbit: The Thing About Cancer'.
With a chance to meet the author, Sarah, and hear Rosie’s tale about her experience with cancer, this is an event not to be missed.
The launch will be taking place at Libreria Bookshop on 9 April 2017 from 12.15pm to 4.45pm. There will be various sessions throughout the day, allowing guests to come and go as they please.
A book for everyone touched by cancer
Rosie The Rabbit is a story for families and anyone going through cancer. The story talks about some of the feelings and experiences that happen when diagnosed with cancer.
Author Sarah Josefsberg said: “When I had cancer, I felt really alone and scared. I had my family and friends but I felt like I was in a different place to everyone around me. Cancer can be such an isolating experience.
“I wrote this book one night while in the middle of having chemo. When I shared Rosie’s story with my friends and family I found we had common ground again.
"It opened up conversations about so many things that had felt so hard for me to express. This is a book for everyone touched by cancer.”
