Take part in the annual 5K Oxford Fun Run, organised by the Rotary Club of Oxford, and raise funds for children and young people with cancer, and their families.
Sign up now to take part, and help us fight for young lives against cancer.
Oxford residents of every kind are invited to join the fun either as an individual or as a team.
Budding participants will compete to win a trophy in their category, including speed and fancy dress, and be welcomed to join an afternoon BBQ immediately after the race, free of charge to entrants.
The Rotary Club of Oxford has organised a Fun Run in their city every year since 1989, with this year being no exception. The 5K run, walk or roll, will take place in Oxford University Parks.
Dr Graham Simpson of the Rotary Club of Oxford said: “Oxford Rotary Club was founded in 1924 and 2017 marks 28 years of the Fun Run event. We are proud to host such a long standing, successful event, which is great fun for everyone!”
Run to raise money
Runners are encouraged to run and raise funds for their chosen charity, as well as helping the Rotary Club of Oxford raise money for CLIC Sargent.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Charlie Straker said “We are thrilled that the Rotary Club of Oxford is helping to raise thousands of pounds for charities by hosting this fantastic event, which is a great day out for everyone in the beautiful Oxford University Parks.”
