A fantastic day out for all the family, join Team CLIC Sargent at Oldbury Fun Run and support children and young people with cancer.
The Oldbury Fun Run 2017 includes a competitive road race and a fun run.
Both follow the same circuit - a single lap road course of about four miles, along the lanes around Oldbury-on-Severn and Kington, starting at The Anchor Inn, finishing back in the village.
The Red Start Road Race is organised in association with Thornbury Running Club and is popular with competitive runners from all over the county.
The Blue Start is what puts the 'fun' into fun run. Whether you run, jog or walk, whether you are pushing a pram or you are a team dressed as pink poodles, the atmosphere promises to be amazing.
It is for anyone, but under 13s need to be accompanied by an adult who will also need to register. It starts 10 minutes after the Red Start Road Race, and fancy dress is encouraged!
Put the date in your diary - registration will open soon.
Fun for the family
The popular Oldbury Fun Run and Family Day includes a whole heap of fun and games, including a family fun day with stalls, competitions, exhibitions, live music, games and activities. Highlights include a classic vehicle display, cream teas, a tug-of-war and skittles.
The whole day is a celebration of everything that is best about living in a village community and funds raised support the work of CLIC Sargent.
