This year will welcome the fifth annual Nailsea charity walk, where residents are invited to enjoy the local countryside with friends and family while raising much needed funds for children and young people with cancer.
There are three route options within the local area, which all start and finish at the Scotch Horn Centre in Nailsea:
- The Nailsea 5k stroll - At 5k (approximately three miles), this will appeal to families and is intended to be a relatively easy fun walk - pushchair and wheelchair friendly.
- The Nailsea 10k - At 10k (approximately six miles), this is intended for people who would prefer a route that is longer and slightly more challenging.
- The Nailsea 20k challenge - At 20k (approximately 12 miles), this is for the more experienced, who are fit and who like more of a challenge.
With the option to run or walk, you will enjoy some wonderful countryside and navigate your own way, all while raising money for CLIC Sargent.
The registration fee is £6 per person. You can register today at the Rotary Club of Backwell and Nailsea official website.
CLIC Sargent would like to thank The Rotary Club of Nailsea and Backwell, who organise the whole event, for inviting the charity to welcome CLIC Sargent supporters along.
