For the 32nd year, the talented Midlands Hospitals' Choir performed their annual carol concert in aid of CLIC Sargent.
The audience were treated to a festive programme including 'Good King Wenceslas' and three Lamp Carols which are sung in memory of Florence Nightingale, the lady with the lamp.
The choir, made up of medical professionals from across the midlands and their friends and family, were accompanied by the fantastic Gemini Brass and organist Julian Wilkins.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Anna Finnegan said: "The support that the Midlands' Hospitals Choir has shown for CLIC Sargent over the last 32 years is phenomenal and we are very grateful to them.
"The retiring collection alone raised a fantastic £2,684 which will go towards supporting children and young people with cancer and their families in the west midlands and throughout the UK.
"The concert was wonderful and a great way to kick start the season's festivities. I would like to say a big thank you to all those involved with the choir, all those hours of rehearsal really paid off."
The Midlands Hositals' Choir spring concert, in support of CLIC Sargent, will be held on 10 May 2014 at the Church of St Faith and St Laurence, Birmingham.
Tickets will be available on the door or by contacting Susan Buckingham on: 07976 157225.
