The Manchester and District Hospitals' Choir return to The Bridgewater Hall for its Christmas celebration in aid of CLIC Sargent.
You are invited to what has become a much loved start to the festive season in the Manchester Christmas Calendar. Hospital choirs from Stockport, Manchester, Nottingham, Blackburn and Bolton come together and unite under one roof to perform a programme of festive songs and get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
The annual concert led by Clark Rundell is held at the prestigious Bridgewater Hall, a fitting venue for the talented singers and musicians to perform, including organist Jonathan Scott and the Greater Manchester Police Trumpeters.
CLIC Sargent will also be celebrating 10 years of its music programme, with a performance from the CLIC Sargent Singers, a group of young cancer patients.
There will also be guest appearances this year from four school choirs from the region.
Monday‘s guest choirs are St Mary’s RC Primary School, Failsworth & St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Sale.
Tuesday will see Holy Family RC Primary from Kirkholt, Rochdale and Pownall Green Primary Bramhall take to the stage.
