CLIC Sargent supporters have braved the cold and conquered the Jingle Bell Drop abseils in London and Bristol to help raise over £20,000 for children and young people with cancer.
80 fantastic supporters made their way to Premier Inns in both cities on 1 and 8 December to abseil down dizzying heights of 150ft and 200ft in aid of CLIC Sargent.
Although there were some nervous folk at both events, the incredible £20,000 raised is all due to their bravery and excitement during the event.
There were several participants dressed in festive costumes including reindeer, Santa’s, Christmas jumpers and a few comfy onesies! The outfits' boosted moral and helped participants forget about the cold conditions and focus on the challenge at hand.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Louise Oakley, said: "The success of both days was all thanks to the fantastic participants and helpers. Huge thanks to everyone who took part on the day, and we hope everyone involved had as great a time as we did!"
