On Sunday 17 May 2015 supporters took on a gruelling 5k and 10k muddy challenge with Insane Terrain Running Ltd to raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
Brave participants tackle the mud
Members of prominent Suffolk business networking group Avanti donned their running shoes and old clothes to take on the challenge for the second year running.
Alongside 500 participants and dozens of CLIC Sargent runners, businesses that tackled the obstacles and ditches included Your Telemarketing, Box-it East, Action Coach Suzanne MacDonald-Carr and CB8 Magazine.
Victoria Sharp, chief executive of Avanti, said: “We had so much fun and it was amazing to see everyone helping each other to get over the obstacles.
“We are really proud to support our chosen charity CLIC Sargent with its amazing work with young cancer patients.”
The course at Poplar Park was set out in a 5k loop. Each participant had the choice on the day of completing one lap or two, allowing for 5k or 10k in distance.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Daisy Turner said: “We’re so grateful to everyone who got muddy and raised money to support children and young people with cancer in East Anglia.”
