Come along to be entertained at the first Gym 300 strongman competition and help to raise funds for children and young people with cancer, and their families.
The competition will have six separate events: maximum deadlift, loading race, yoke and husafell stone carrying, Thor hammer hold, shoulder medley and the Atlas stone.
The day will include prizes and trophies for the first three competitors and a £100 bonus prize for anyone who can beat the Scottish Deadlift Record at their body weight category.
Gym 300 sponsored strongman Luke ‘The Highland Oak’ Stoltman will be there refereeing and announcing, along with strongman Tom Stoltman and Thomas Parkes.
There will also be a raffle and auction on the day in aid of CLIC Sargent, with some great prizes on show including a signed Žydrūnas Savickas, Lithuanian powerlifter ‘Big Z’ top and a Scottish Strongest Man t-shirt. On-site catering on the day will be from Scotts Larder.
Gym 300 owners Tom and Nicola Ashmole have previously supported CLIC Sargent, with Nicola having taken on the Big Buzz challenge last year through her sponsored pony tail cut.
This event is totally free for spectators but there will be donation buckets collecting on the day with all proceeds from this event going to CLIC Sargent.
