On the evening of Thursday 6 March 2014, The Fantasy Ball was awash with fairylights, magic and mischievousness at the Underglobe on the Southbank.

Guests were treated to a wide selection of delicious canapés during the welcome reception, whilst enjoying performances from Shakespearean actors and a magician!

Tristram Cooke, who's been supported by CLIC Sargent performed alongside a wind trio as guests took their seats and savoured their main meal.

Other performances throughout the evening came from Anna Byrne-Smith and Tom Barber, who have also benefitted from CLIC Sargent’s services. Sophia Steinsberg commanded the room, telling guests about her experience of cancer, and just how much Liz, her CLIC Sargent Nurse, helped her and her family.

CLIC Sargent Major Events Manager Sophie Eaton said: “This year’s Fantasy Ball was a fantastic occasion. The venue looked magical and we’re delighted to have raised more than £200,000, which will help support children and young people whose lives have been turned upside down by cancer.

“We’d like to thank the Fantasy Ball committee, our sponsors and those who have donated auction prizes for making the evening such an amazing success.”
