The daring challenge of the Dartmoor Drop took place on September 6 and 7 and has raised £10,000 for CLIC Sargent.

Local people from Somerset, Devon and Cornwall united in true daredevil style to raise vital funds to help CLIC Sargent continue it’s support for children and young people with cancer, and their families.

Participants performed a free-fall 100ft drop abseil descending from Meldon Viaduct. As well as taking on the daring drop, the day provided some fun activities for all the family with refreshments kindly provided by Tamar Foods.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Georgina Reed, said: “We’re so pleased that so many individuals and teams really pushed themselves to participate in the Dartmoor Drop. We are delighted for the support that we have seen from so many people.
