Special guest at the tea party will be Miss Popularity Queen and finalist for Miss England 2015, Shirin O’Neill. Hear about the wonderful work of Beauty with a Purpose, the charity element of the Miss World Pageants.
Beauty with a Purpose was set up in 1972 by Julia Morley and is at the heart of the Miss World pageant, making the Miss World crown the symbol for fundraising everywhere, inviting the contestants to help aid projects in their own countries.
Miss Popularity Queen 2015 Shirin said: “I am so proud to support this event for CLIC Sargent, it’s such a great cause.
“Being charitable is a natural part of my life, I have been fundraising since I was only four years old, I love to fundraise and will continue for a long time.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager James McDonald said: “This is going to be a wonderful event and a great chance for people to see one of CLIC Sargent’s Homes from Home.
“I want to thank all those involved for their hard work to organise the tea party.”
