This Christmas, the 200 strong Welsh Hospital Choir joined together for the 32nd annual Cardiff Carol Concert, to raise vital funds for CLIC Sargent.
The Concert took place at the prestigious St David’s Hall in Cardiff. Performing with the Welsh Hospital Choir was the tremendous Brass Ensemble of the Welsh Guards and renowned international organist, Jane Watts.
Organised by the Cardiff Carol Committee who have raised over £100,000 for CLIC Sargent, this concert is an extremely popular annual occasion, getting more the 800 strong audience into the Christmas spirit.
Special guests of the evening were Official Harpist to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales, Hannah Stone and Lanfoist Fawr Primary School from Abergavenny.
The concert was conducted by David John Davies, who entertained the crowds with stories of Christmas and a comical hat with a festive personality.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Hannah Worrall, said: “It is wonderful to see everyone come together to enjoy the festivities whilst raising much needed funds for a very important cause.”
