The Bournemouth Hero-Abseil 2016 is the first of its kind, and is a sure test of bravery and heroism.
St Peter’s Church, built in between 1844 and 1897 by the architect G.E Street, is the oldest church in the parish.
This adrenaline fuelled challenge will see you abseil down the main tower of St Peter’s Church, where you will have stunning views over the city landscape, across the sea and the iconic Bournemouth Pier.
No prior experience is necessary, as you will receive all your training and abseiling kit on the day. All you need to do is come as your favourite superhero (optional!) and bring along your friends and family for support. Entertainment will be provided and refreshments available.
Who can take part?
The Bournemouth Hero-Abseil is about having fun. The event is open to all ages, so it’s a perfect family day out!
