Drive your own team of huskies through the Arctic wilderness and raise funds to help children and young people with cancer.
The challenge is to drive your sled through the rolling highlands and deep forests of Lapland.
Join this once in a lifetime adventure through the pristine landscape of Swedish Lapland in the Arctic Circle. Get set for an action-packed dog sledding charity challenge in what is often described as ‘Europe’s Last Wilderness’.
This is a tough challenge and you will need to be physically fit to complete it. You will be expected to look after your own team of huskies, will be staying in basic self-sufficient lodgings and coping with unpredictable weather conditions.
A full briefing of how to handle your sled and dogs will be given once there and past experience of dog sledding is not required.
Highlights of this challenge include:
- Once in a lifetime challenge in a remote environment
- Outstanding scenery above the Arctic Circle
- Build and sleep in an igloo
- Looking after your own team of dogs
- Back to basics in wilderness base camps
- See the Northern Lights (weather permitting)
- Optional visit to the Ice Hotel
