The 13th CLIC Sargent charity ball and auction at the Bristol Hotel in Newquay has raised over £6,000 for children and young people with cancer.
More than 70 guests attended this year's event which began with bucks fizz followed by a fantastic four course meal and auction. Guests also enjoyed musical entertainment from the Mike Collins Disco.
Once again the ball also had fantastic support from local businesses with a range of wonderful prizes donated, including:
- Beautiful pictures from local artists Clare Parker, Dick Twinney, Sam Gillespie, Lorna Wiles, Melanie McDonald, Sheila Beckett and Paul Foreman
- Rounds of golf
- Beauty treatments
- A huge sheepskin rug from Celtic and Co.
- A range of Cornish holidays
- Theatre tickets, hampers and many other items.
