CLIC Sargent is delighted to have been chosen by Wren Kitchens as its first national charity partner. The partnership is set to raise £50,000 over the next year to help the charity continue its support for young cancer patients and their famillies.
With 35 years of experience, Wren Kitchens supplies kitchens, bedrooms and accessories across the UK. Wren manufactures all of its kitchens in the UK and employs over 2,000 people.
Wren Kitchens has supported a variety of different charitable activities over the last few years, but this is the first time the whole company will be fundraising for one charity partner.
Wren will be encouraging all of its employees to get behind the partnership, from staff based in The Nest head office in Barton-upon-Humber, to colleagues based in its 51 stores across the UK.
On the decision to partner with CLIC Sargent Paul Toms, Chief Operating Officer says: “As a company where family is very much at the heart of our business, we are proud to partner with a charity that is there to support families when they need it most. Over the next 12 months, our staff will be working together to raise £50,000 for CLIC Sargent, which could help fund 2,000 hours of CLIC Sargent care for families.”
Of the partnership, CLIC Sargent’s Head of Corporate Partnerships Anne-Marie Jubber says: “It’s fantastic to be working with a company which shares our focus on families. We are looking forward to getting to know Wren Kitchens' business and employees and achieving great things together in the future."
