Why volunteer?

Each year, lots of different people volunteer for CLIC Sargent taking on a wide range of roles in all areas of our work throughout the UK.

Why volunteer?

Why volunteer for CLIC Sargent?

Volunteering with CLIC Sargent is a chance to do something positive to help support children and young people with cancer, and their families.

CLIC Sargent volunteers enable us to do so much through raising vital funds, providing additional services and offering their own skills and expertise.

Volunteering is also a great opportunity to gain new skills, meet new people and experience working in the third sector.

I love being part of a team working together to reach a common goal. I feel a real sense of worth and achievement.

Supporting our volunteers

CLIC Sargent offers an excellent volunteering experience.

Our volunteers work closely with our teams in friendly, welcoming environments and are offered high quality support, as well as training and resources relevant to their role.

This ensures our volunteers are able to benefit from the time they give, whilst helping to support children and young people with cancer, and their families.

It's been a huge learning opportunity for me, I've gained valuable knowledge to benefit my future career path.
