Volunteers’ Week 2016

During Volunteers’ Week, 1-12 June, CLIC Sargent said a huge thank you to the 1,500 people who have given their time for to volunteer for CLIC Sargent this year.

Volunteers’ Week 2016

From bucket collectors, to CLIC Sargent Representatives, office and shop volunteers to Trustees, CLIC Sargent Volunteers help make us who we are and help us to achieve more.

So this Volunteers' Week our aim was to show each and every one of our volunteers jut how much we appreciate their time and dedication to CLIC Sargent. We celebrated all of those times you have said yes to supporting young people with cancer by lending us your skills and time. We are celebrating every time you have shaken a bucket with our name on it. Every presentation and talk you've given.

Every time you have made a customer at a CLIC Sargent shop feel welcome. Every skill you have shared with our staff. Every time you have helped make sure our events are as successful as possible.

Whether you have given one hour or 50 hours of your time, everything our volunteers do has a positive impact.

Jen, Head of Volunteering

This year’s activities included shop parties, lots of social media activity,  a special video from Kate Lee, CEO, and volunteers from Network Rail who joined us for the first ever CLIC Sargent Volunteers’ Week thankathon in Hammersmith. They wrote over 650 thank you cards for Volunteers across the UK – an incredible achievement! Check out our Volunteers’ Week Storify for all the action.
