There are a number of different roles available. From marshalling to cheering, as a CLIC Sargent running volunteer you'll help make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with cancer.

When cheering at the Bristol 10k we got to do so much! It was great. Definitely something I would do again.

The value of your support cannot be underestimated. Hearing cheers of encouragement keeps our runners motivated - and reminds them of how their efforts are appreciated.

Simon Harwood, a CLIC Sargent runner, said: “If the CLIC Sargent team was not there on the day, the experience from a runner’s point of view would be very different – to the point that it would influence my decision to take part at all.”
