We need your help! We want to create some films for young people by young people to promote new information on our website.
We're looking for people aged 16 and over who would be willing to film themselves talking about how cancer can affect your life, especially in terms of your wellbeing and how you look after yourself.
Our new information
CLIC Sargent wants to talk more about how cancer can affect your life, especially in terms of your wellbeing and how you look after yourself. We'd really like as many young people as possible to get involved and help us spread the word.
We’ve written some new advice for our website about:
- Your body: Washing and skincare, deodorants, shaving, nails and dental care
- Your hair: Hair care, hair loss and wigs
- Your appearance: Makeup, fake tan, tattoos and piercings
- Your wellbeing: body confidence and self-esteem, exercising and complementary therapies
- Your health: alcohol, smoking and vaping, drug use and cannabis.
What you've told us
Young people have told us they would like more videos created by you, from your own voices.
So we're asking you to film yourself talking honestly and openly about any of the above topics. It can be as long or short as you like and can be taken on a smartphone or any device.
To get involved, please email Information Officer Steph Jury-Dale on firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be in touch with some more details.
Help us spread the word!
If you don’t fancy filming yourself, but do want to be involved in promoting the new information on social media, please let us know.
We want your ideas for how we could promote this and reach other young people - and we’d like to get as many of you involved as possible!
