ITV Text Santa

CLIC Sargent was one of six UK charities that took part in ITV’s Text Santa fundraising appeal in 2013 which raised 4.9million. This partnership will now help us support children and young people with cancer and their families.

The amount raised was shared equally between the chosen six charities. Every penny raised for CLIC Sargent will now help us fund our core work, providing practical and emotional support to children and young people with cancer and their families.

It will also enable us to create, develop and manage our first ever online community to support young people with cancer for a period of three years. The online community will enable young people to connect and share experiences with other people who are going through similar experiences.

The CLIC Sargent Tesco Charity of the Year partnership was launched in March 2010 with the aim of raising £5million to help fund specialist children’s cancer nurses across the UK, so that children with cancer could spend more time at home and less time in hospital.

The partnership was hugely successful and has raised £7.3million to date, more than any previous Tesco charity partnership.

Josh Hardie, Tesco's Head of Corporate Social Responsibility said: "This has been an outstanding partnership and everyone has been absolutely amazing in turning every single opportunity into a reality. Read the Tesco partnership case study.

"We have really enjoyed working on this partnership – “a well-oiled machine” with a very can do approach."

Sainsbury’s - Region 43

CLIC Sargent's partnership with Sainsbury’s Region 43 was launched in January 2009.

Colleagues and customers from stores in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire reached the fundraising total through participation in a wide range of imaginative events, from bag packing and summer fun days, to sponsored cycles and bespoke staff skydives.

Chelsea Football Club

Chelsea FC partnered with CLIC Sargent between 2005 and 2009. During this time the Premiership side helped raise nearly £2million for children and young people with cancer.

Highlights from the four year relationship include:

Leading business law firm, Olswang supported CLIC Sargent as one of its nominated charities of the year between 2007 and 2008.

Driven by an enthusiastic Charity Council, Olswang employees took part in a great range of fundraising activities across the year including quizzes, photo competitions, race nights and the legendary Olswang Idol! The law firm supported its employees hard work by matching every penny raised.

Over 31,500 colleagues voted, choosing CLIC Sargent and throughout the year HBOS colleagues, customers and shareholders undertook a variety of fundraising activities.

Every pound raised was matched by the HBOS Foundation, so at the end of 2008, the Million £ Challenge had raised an incredible £4,062,903 and CLIC Sargent was presented with a cheque for £2,017,293 in January 2009. The remainder was split between the charities who were runners up in the staff vote.

Jillian Baillie, Deputy Head of the HBOS Foundation said: "We're delighted to donate such a significant amount to CLIC Sargent. Thousands of colleagues across the HBOS Group took part in fundraising activities."

CLIC Sargent's partnership with hmv and sister company Fopp spanned three years. At the heart of the relationship were the hmv colleagues from head office, distribution centres and the HMV and Fopp stores, who continually demonstrated a passion to go that extra mile for CLIC Sargent.

Gennaro Castaldo, Head of Press & PR for hmv Group Plc said: "We’ve really enjoyed working with the corporate team, who have fully supported and encouraged our efforts along the way, providing and assisting us with new and exciting ways to fundraise. The relationship has also motivated our staff, who have engaged far more with their customers and local communities as a result of it."
