CLIC Sargent is thrilled to have the chance to become Network Rail's next charity partner. If we win, this partnership will make a huge difference to the services we can provide for children and young people with cancer and their families.
At the moment, we can only support two out of three young cancer patients who need us, and we urgently need to support more of them.
Network Rail staff can help us get closer to three out of three by choosing CLIC Sargent in their staff vote, open from 2–31 January 2014.
If we win
- More families will be able to spend time together near to where their child is being treated
- Children with cancer can continue to have vital support from our nurses, so that they can receive treatments at home where this possible
- More young cancer patients will receive vital emotional and practical support from diagnosis onwards to support them through often frightening and gruelling treatment.
More about CLIC Sargent
CLIC Sargent is the UK's leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. We provide clinical, practical and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
We are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement.
