CLIC Sargent launched its education campaigning programme in March 2012.
This campaign aimed to better understand the impact of cancer on children and young people’s education and employment, and identify ways to lessen the disruption that cancer can have on school, college and university life.
It also sought to raise awareness of the issues facing children, young people with cancer and their families, around keeping up with education and employment.

While the campaign activities will conclude in March 2015, our policy and influencing work on education will continue beyond this date, as we work with the government and other key stakeholders to implement the Children and Families Bill and the subsequent guidance in England and to influence education policy across the UK.
