During your illness you might make friends with other young people and maybe some adults who have cancer.
These friendships may become very close and something you put a great value on. This means it can be very tough if a friend faces a setback in their treatment or dies. If this happens, you may find it helpful to talk about your feelings with other friends in hospital or a member of your care team.
