Get involved on social

Living with cancer can sometimes feel isolating but you're not alone. Connect with other 16-24 year olds via Young Lives vs Cancer social media channels and feel at home (albeit virtually). Get support, tips from experts and share your own experience to connect with, and help others.

Young Lives vs Cancer on Instagram

Follow us on Instagram – you can read about other people’s stories and experiences, and what we’re doing to support you. You’ll also find lots of info, top tips – everything from managing money to sex and relationship from our experts. We also manage to squeeze in a few celebs and influencers when we can.

If you’re up for it (zero pressure), you could be part of our Instagram channel – in any way that you want. This could be through a grid post, a takeover on our stories or sharing something you’ve created. Email social@younglivesvscancer.org.uk and we’ll get the ball rolling.

Young Lives vs Cancer on Facebook

Check out the Team Young Lives Facebook group and start chatting with other over-16s who have experienced cancer. There’s heaps of support from other people like you, as well as tips, advice and live Q&As from experts. Feel at home talking about cancer, come together, share experiences and ask questions.

Make change for other young people with cancer

We believe that your voice and experience of having cancer as a young person must be heard by government and decision makers across the UK, to make change happen and get you the support that you need. Take a look at our get campaigning section for more information on how to get involved.

Online events with our charity partners

We’re friends with lots of other great organisations who support children and young people with cancer. Some of them also offer online events that you might like to attend – follow them on social media for all the details:
