Free accommodation

CLIC Sargent has Homes from Home close to specialist hospitals across the UK. They provide free self-catering accommodation to avoid long journeys to and from hospital.

What are Homes from Home?

If you are being treated at one of these principal centres you, your family or partner, may be able to stay in a CLIC Sargent Home from Home while you are receiving treatment.

Each Home from Home is a short walk from hospital and provides free accommodation for young people and their family or partner. They offer private rooms plus shared facilities that other guests can use, including a kitchen so you can cook your own meals and shared lounge areas to catch up with other residents who are going through similar experiences. Most Homes from Home have a separate teenage room, located away from the spaces for younger children and parents, with a TV, games console and other activities.

"Staying at CLIC House was great. It made such a difference being close to the hospital. My mum stayed with me the whole time."
