Getting young people’s voices heard
Around 11 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. We want to make sure their voices are heard by politicians across the country.
We asked young people and parents what their priorities are for the next government. They told us they want to see politicians taking action on:
- Tackling the financial impact of cancer on young people and families
- Better access to emotional and mental health support during and after treatment
- Improved access to welfare benefits, for example, Disability Living Allowance and Personal Independence Payments
Can you join us in championing the voices of young cancer patients in Parliament, and spreading the word about the issues that matter to them?
Ask your MP to join our fight for young lives against cancer.
Email your MP today and ask them what they will do to make change happen for young cancer patients and their families.
"I want to make sure the process from diagnosis to long term impact is better for the next generation of young cancer patients and the only way to do this is by speaking up"
