In 2008 CLIC Sargent asked children and young people with cancer, and their families, what they needed outside of hospital. We looked at previous consultations and worked closely with a range of professionals including nurses, doctors, social workers and teachers.
As a result of this work, CLIC Sargent published More Than My Illness: delivering quality care for children with cancer, which made recommendations on how best to provide care and support to children and young people with cancer (aged 0-18), and their families.
