message: hi guys, is there anyone that has a child with apl? the staff of clic sargent are excellent and the hospital consultants and the nurses. but we would like to talk to other parents going threw treatment or did with their child. our son is fourteen and was diagonoised five months ago. we have fantastic support from family and friends.. but yet we still struggle to cope with our son having leukemia. bye for now,

my daughter lillie was diagnosed with apl on the 23rd sept,08, aged 1 year old it was a complete shock,my daughter is still receiving treatment at the qmc notts and is doing really well, yes i agree the clic staff are amazing they helped and supported us so much,we couldnt have done without them xx amy xx

message: hi, glad to hear your daughter doing well. how is she coping with the chemo?
with my son its the infections that are worse than the chemo, theyre awful. the chemo does knock him for six, and the nausea. but the infections defo worse. completely floor him... its so scarey for him and us!
have you ever heard of this cancer before? we have heard of leukemia but nt this kind.

message: hi, sorry for the delayed reply, not been on for a while,lillie is doing really well, she coped with everything better than i did, she is now on maintenance therpy,i had never heard of this untill they told me lillie had it, it was a complete shock,hope all is well with you and your family
