message: Ok we are in a 3 bedroom house with 4 children and our eldest is having chemo at the minute so is in a room of his own meaning the other 3 are stuck in a room together. The housing executive have now offered us a 4 bedroom house which is ideal except for the fact it has an open coal fire. I haven't seen a coal fire for years and never had one myself (my parents did) does anyone know if there would be health problem associated with the coal fire? would we be better asking for gas or oil and getting the community nurse involved?
