Pilar Gonzalez Grey Ph.D
Head of Research & Development
Pilar is in charge of the overall research development work for the organisation and supports a team of researchers engaged in survey work leading to new service development, strategic planning and CLIC Sargent campaigns.  She oversees the research grant process and the peer review process for external researchers, and also supports internal staff research projects.  Pilar is committed to ‘action research’ – using research to improve practice – which then serves to support children, young people and their families better.

Cath Dillon

Catherine Dillon Ph.D
Senior Researcher
Cath is the chief analyst on the team, using SPSS (Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences) as the key data management tool.  She is an experienced quantitative researcher but uses both qualitative and quantitative methods in her research approach.  Cath works on projects leading to campaigns and Services strategic development, advising on methodology and analysis.  Cath regularly writes analysis reports as well as outcome reports.

Mylan Nguyen

Mylan Nguyen
Research Data Analyst
Mylan works principally with our data management systems. She liaises with IT in order to run analysis reports.  She works closely on the services evaluation of CLIC Sargent services and produces monthly reports for different areas of CLIC Sargent Services.  She oversees the Parents’ Research Forum membership – a forum for parents/carers who have registered to give regular feedback to CLIC Sargent via surveys.

Joanna Day

Joanna Day
Research Assistant
Jo provides administrative support for the team. Her other main day-to-day projects involve CLIC Sargent service evaluation and research grants. Jo works closely on current commissioned surveys, assisting with qualitative data analysis and short report writing.  top of page
