Peter’s Food Service, who are based in South Wales, is aiming to raise £20,000 for CLIC Sargent by taking on the Three Peaks Challenge this September.
Six of the pie company's senior management team will climb and descend the three highest peaks in the UK within three consecutive days. This is no mean feat with all three routes totalling 42.43 kilometres with an ascent of 11,262 feet. This is roughly 16,893 of Peter's Food sausage rolls stood end on end!
The team acsending the peaks will be; Ken Blackman and Tony Thompson, Regional Sales Managers, John McAughtrie, National Accounts Manager, Justin Griffiths, Food Service Director, Vince Edes and John Llewellyn, Regional Van Sales Directors.
They will be undertaking this challenge over three days from the 24th-27th September 2008
